Phonics & Spelling
At R.I.C. we understand the importance of effective English teaching and learning and have produced a wide range of phonics and spelling resources. Our range of teacher resources—including worksheets, teacher information, ebooks, interactive resources, workbooks and posters—are designed to create a fun and interesting educational experience for both students and teachers from Foundation to Year 6.
Our comprehensive English resources cover topics including phonological awareness skills, reading, spelling, syllables, phonics, vowel sounds, and initial letters and sounds. A wide variety of exciting, challenging and engaging games, questions and activities will provide something to interest everyone.
Many of our series link to the Australian Curriculum. A number are all-inclusive, and all can be integrated seamlessly into your classroom.
HOW TO HELP YOUR CHILD OR STUDENTS WITH PHONICS

While our phonics resources are not specific lesson plans, their content can certainly form a lesson with ease. For instance, Phonological awareness skills – Auditory discrimination, rhyming and alliteration can provide multiple phonics lesson plans, and cover multiple learning objectives.
This resource is designed for Foundation to Year 2 and was created to remove the confusion around phonological awareness and equip children with all the skills need to conquer the world of words. It is part of a series of five comprehensive books covering all the basics for early childhood, as well as assisting older students who are struggling with phonics and spelling.
