The majority of the blackline masters in Number Grids are based on the 1-100 number grid. Many commercial number grids are based on the 1-100 number grid and the activities in this book may be used in conjunction with these products. It should be noted, however, that the activities may be used with other number grids such as the 0-99 number grid.
Different number grids may be used to extend the activities contained in this book. Instructions are provided so that teachers and, better still, students can make their own number grids. Number grids may be used on a regular basis to assist in the development of mental computation skills.
