Clean Up Australia Day

Clean Up Australia Day

Clean Up Australia Day

It may or may not come as a surprise that the number one source of rubbish around Australia in 2018 was single-use plastics—and straws were in the top 10. For the sake of our precious wildlife, and to ensure future generations have the opportunity to live in and appreciate this beautiful country, education and action are of utmost importance.

This ‘Clean Up Australia’ Day is a perfect chance to get students enthusiastic and motivated to help protect and restore our natural environment.

For fun and ready-to-use activities for your students, check out the ‘Clean Up Australia’ Day digital unit from our new Quick themes series—only $1.99!

The ‘Clean Up Australia’ Day website provides great toolkits to help get students outdoors, cleaning up and learning why this is important.
