5 Star Wars-themed science activities for primary students 

May the 4th – Star Wars Day – is both a clever play on words, and an excellent opportunity to add an extra-exciting twist to lessons. To help you make the most of this day, we’ve compiled some ideas for fun science-themed activities. 

 

 

1. Lightsaber glow slime

Treat your students to an awesome, slimy, sensory experience with this glow-in-the-dark slime from Little bins for little hands. Lightsaber sounds is not included and has to be self-generated. 2. Create your own galaxy

3. Games, activities and crafts at NASA Space place

Take the fi out of Scifi and explore NASA Space place for a range of interesting information, games and activities, including instructions to make a comet on a stick

 

4. Design and create a hoverboard

Let your students imagine zipping through the forests of Endor on a speeder bike by creating their very own hoverboard! 5. Create your own constellations

Are you ready to take your students to different galaxies and imagine star systems that has planets as iconic as Tatooine or Endor?
